TCS Q1 Results: Companies will begin releasing their financial results for the April-June 2025 quarter, which is the first quarter of the fiscal year 2025-26, starting in July. Speaking of IT companies, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) will announce its financial results for the June 2025 quarter on July 10, following a board meeting. TCS is the largest IT company in the country. The company has informed the stock exchanges that during its board meeting, it will also discuss the first interim dividend for fiscal year 2026.
Even before announcing the interim dividend, TCS has set the record date for it as July 16, 2025. Shareholders whose names appear as beneficial owners in the company’s register of members or in the depositories’ records by this date will be eligible to receive the dividend.
Previously, when announcing the January-March 2025 quarter and the financial results for fiscal year 2024-25 in April, TCS’s board approved a final dividend of ₹30 per share for shareholders. The record date for that dividend was June 4, 2025. Along with the quarterly results for December 2024, TCS had declared an interim dividend of ₹10 per share and a special dividend of ₹66 per share. Earlier in fiscal year 2025, the company had distributed interim dividends twice, ₹10 per share each time, totaling ₹20.
Profit Declined in March Quarter
In the January-March 2025 quarter, TCS reported a consolidated net profit of ₹12,293 crore, a 1.67% decline year-on-year. The profit had been ₹12,502 crore in the same quarter the previous year. For shareholders, the profit during the March 2025 quarter was ₹12,224 crore. On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations rose 5% year-on-year to ₹64,479 crore, up from ₹61,237 crore the previous year.
For the entire fiscal year 2024-25, TCS’s consolidated revenue from operations increased 6% to ₹255,324 crore, compared to ₹240,893 crore the year before. The consolidated net profit rose 6% to ₹48,797 crore, up from ₹46,099 crore in fiscal year 2024.
TCS Shares Fall 17% in Six Months
TCS shares closed at ₹3,443.15 on the BSE on Friday, June 27. The company’s market capitalization stands at ₹12.45 lakh crore. The stock has fallen 17% over six months and about 6% over three months. As of the end of March 2025, promoters held a 71.77% stake in the company. Among other IT firms, Infosys will announce its June 2025 quarter financial results on July 23, 2025.
