Devyani Q4 Results 2025: Devyani International Limited, which operates quick service restaurant chains like KFC, Pizza Hut, and Costa Coffee, reported a net loss of ₹16.76 crore for the January-March 2025 quarter. This is approximately 67% lower than the loss of ₹48.95 crore recorded in the same quarter last year. However, the loss attributable to the company’s owners rose by 97.4% year-on-year to ₹14.73 crore, compared to ₹7.46 crore in the March 2024 quarter.
The company informed the stock markets that its consolidated revenue from operations for the March 2025 quarter increased by about 16% year-on-year to ₹1,212.59 crore, up from ₹1,047.07 crore a year earlier. EBITDA rose 43% year-on-year to ₹187 crore. Meanwhile, margins improved by approximately 300 basis points, reaching 15.4%, compared to 12.5% in the March 2024 quarter.
Profit for the full fiscal year 2025
For the entire fiscal year 2024-25, Devyani International’s consolidated revenue from operations was ₹4,951 crore, up from ₹3,556.31 crore the previous year. The net profit attributable to the company’s owners fell to ₹9.15 crore, down from ₹47.26 crore in fiscal 2024. Devyani International opened 257 new stores in fiscal 2025, compared to 539 new stores added in fiscal 2024.
In April this year, Devyani International approved the acquisition of up to 80.72% stake in Sky Gate Hospitality Private Limited. The total transaction value will be ₹419.31 crore. Sky Gate Hospitality operates the brands ‘Biryani By Kilo,’ ‘Goila Butter Chicken,’ and ‘The Bhojan.’ After the transaction, Sky Gate Hospitality will become a subsidiary of Devyani International.

On May 23, Devyani International’s shares fluctuated between gains and losses on the BSE. During the day, the stock rose about 1.6% from the previous close, reaching a high of ₹183.55, while also dipping nearly 2% to a low of ₹177.40. At market close, the shares settled down 0.47% at ₹179.85. The company’s market capitalization stands at approximately ₹21,700 crore. As of the end of March 2025, promoters held a 62.72% stake in the company.
