SAIL Q4 Results 2025: Public sector company Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has released its results for the January-March quarter. In this quarter, the company’s net profit rose by 11% to ₹1,250.98 crore. The profit increase was driven by higher revenue. In the January-March quarter of the fiscal year 2023-24, SAIL had earned a profit of ₹1,125.68 crore. Meanwhile, the company’s board of directors has recommended a final dividend of ₹1.60 per equity share of ₹10 each for the fiscal year 2024-25.
Revenue and Expenses
During the same period, SAIL’s operating revenue increased to ₹29,316.14 crore, compared to ₹27,958.52 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Expenses for the March quarter stood at ₹28,020.56 crore, up from ₹26,473.86 crore in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2024.
On a quarterly basis, the company’s profit was nearly nine times higher compared to ₹141.89 crore earned in October-December 2024. However, for the entire fiscal year 2024-25, the company’s net profit declined to ₹2,371.80 crore from ₹3,066.67 crore in fiscal year 2023-24.

SAIL Chairman and MD Amarendu Prakash said, “Our financial results underscore our commitment to operational efficiency, sustained growth, and value creation for our stakeholders. Despite challenges arising from international tariffs and import pressures in the previous quarter, our strong performance demonstrates our ability to navigate complexities while strengthening our position.”
