While announcing its results for the January-March 2025 quarter and the financial year 2024-25, HDFC AMC also declared a dividend. The company’s board has recommended a final dividend of ₹90 per equity share for the financial year 2025. The record date for this dividend has been set as June 6, 2025. Shareholders whose names appear as beneficial owners in the company’s register of members or in the depositories’ records by this date will be eligible to receive the dividend.
Shareholders’ approval for the final dividend will be sought at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). HDFC AMC has informed the stock exchanges that its 26th AGM will be held on June 25, 2025. Once the final dividend is approved at the AGM, payment will be made within 30 days. For the financial year 2024, the company had declared an interim dividend of ₹70 per share as well as a final dividend of ₹70 per share.
HDFC AMC Shares Rise 12% in Two Weeks
On May 23, HDFC Asset Management Company’s shares closed at ₹4,810.85 on the BSE, up 0.58%. The company’s market capitalization exceeds ₹1 trillion. Over the past two years, the stock has gained 172%, and it has risen 27% in the last three months. In the past two weeks alone, its price has strengthened by 12%. Following the quarterly results, brokerage firm Motilal Oswal set a target price of ₹5,000 per share for HDFC AMC in April.
The brokerage noted, “Despite weak market sentiment, industry-level gross SIP flows declined by only 2% quarter-on-quarter in March 2025 and increased by 25% year-on-year. Management remains optimistic about accelerating flow trends. The decline in the company’s SIP flows was less than the industry average.”
Profit Up 18% in March Quarter
HDFC AMC’s net profit for the January-March 2025 quarter rose 18% year-on-year to ₹638.5 crore. Total revenue increased by 20.5% over the previous year, reaching ₹1,025.5 crore. For the full financial year 2024-25, the company’s net profit grew 26.64% to ₹2,460 crore, while total revenue rose 28% to ₹4,060 crore.
