Sundaram Finance Q4 Results: Profit Doubles to ₹553 Crore in March Quarter, Announces ₹21 Dividend

Sundaram Finance Q4 Results 2025: Sundaram Finance’s consolidated net profit for the January-March 2025 quarter rose 106% year-on-year to ₹552.98 crore. A year earlier, the profit was ₹267.91 crore. This significant jump in profit is attributed to the absence of exceptional losses, which had been ₹91.7 crore in the March 2024 quarter. The company informed the stock markets that its consolidated revenue from operations for the March 2025 quarter stood at ₹2,259.05 crore, approximately 5% higher than the ₹2,155.89 crore recorded in the same quarter last year.

For the full financial year 2024-25, the company recorded consolidated revenue from operations of ₹8,485.63 crore, up from ₹7,267.12 crore the previous year. The consolidated net profit reached ₹1,879.44 crore, compared to ₹1,436 crore in FY 2024.

Record Date Set for Dividend

The board of Sundaram Finance has recommended a final dividend of ₹21 per share for the financial year 2025. Earlier, the company had declared an interim dividend of ₹14 per share for the same fiscal year. The record date for the final dividend is July 9, 2025. Shareholders whose names appear as beneficial owners in the company’s register of members or in the depositories’ records by this date will be eligible to receive the dividend.

Shareholder approval for the dividend will be sought at the annual general meeting. Upon approval, payments will be made to eligible shareholders on or after July 24. The face value of Sundaram Finance shares is ₹10 each.

Sundaram Finance Shares Close Higher

The stock closed 1.5% up at ₹5,359 on the NSE. During the day, the share price surged nearly 3% from the previous close, reaching a high of ₹5,419. The company’s market capitalization stands at ₹59,500 crore. The shares have gained 30% so far in 2025.
